Astrology is the art or science that aims to forecast and explain events on Earth by observation of the stars, Sun, Moon and planets.
It originated in ancient Mesopotamia, where people believe that the heavenly bodies were powerful gods. It was on this combination of religion and science that thair astrologers based thair prognostications.
In the old days people used to consult astrologers to try and see into the future, a sort of fortune telling. Today most people go to astrologers to learn more about themselves and help sort out their personal problems, such as health, relationships, marriage, business, careers, etc.
In order to identify personal tendencies and characteristics, astrologers work on chats which can even be prepared with the help of a computer nowadays.
A personalized horoscope can be worked out from various influences, and a serious chat made by an honest astrologer may be a source of reflection and inner knowledge.
