             Hi, everyone, i'm a beijing girl, so i'll say something about Peking Opera, the national treature of china.    It has a history of over 200 years and has won high praise aroud the world.

            Peking Opera combines stylized acting with singing, dancing, dialogue, acrobatic fighting, colorful facial make up and fantastic costumes. There are four main types in Peking Opera: sheng(theleading character of male roles), dan(the female roles ), jing(the roles usually with heavy painted faces in different colors), chou(refers to the clowns).
