A conspiracy theory on russia-georgia war

What if the tension between russia and georgia was a deliberate act which was agreed upon by republicans and russia? Russian expansion in georgia might trigger an effect in the US to ensure mccain wins the election so both sides could enjoy surging oil prices for another 4-5 years… What do you think?

I don't think so.As far as I'm concerned,Russian expansion could be considered as "Cold War 2".Kosovo's surprise and unexpected independence movement epitomises for the other small half-independent countries, such as Abkhazya.İt's my convinction that, conflict between Russia and Georgia boils down to one thing- Georgia's willingness to join NATO.As you know, there is debate regarding missile project situated in easterrn Europe suggested by The USA.And it leads Russia to voice its concerns.

It seems very far fetched to me.

McCain is very hard-line on Russia and i suspect Putin would rather deal with Obama.

The russians don't need McCain to cause problems in the region and raise oil prices.

The republicans are not helped by higher prices as it just drives more people to think that socialist policies can solve the problem

Since it is a conspiracy theory, let's add to it.

That's right, a talking English Springer Spaniel.

Then there is this photo as proof.

Da, sobaka, and then?

Blame it on the dog. It worked for David Berkowitz.

The dems have been more hard-line in the past 8 years.

"Finally, we must help Georgia rebuild what has been destroyed. That is why I'm proud to join my friend, Senator Joe Biden, in calling for an additional $1 billion in reconstruction assistance for the people of Georgia."
That is "b" billion, to reconstruct Georgia.

Consider it a payback for Kosovo.

Thanks ryabinushka. The other interview you posted was also interesting.

aw come on Nu.
Where are we going?

you called the 1 billion that Obama promised to Georgia
If it passes. This is an example of a 3:00am call that he should have slept through. Since Biden is involved, does this show their foreign policy? And WTF are they going to do with an "additional" $1 billion? Build a missile shield?

but forget to mention more than 10 billion that Bush used for Iraq?
I didn't know this topic was about Iraq and if it was, I would have to include some other things like Clinton signing the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, his bomb tossing exploits when Saddam wasn't acting like a "good boy', the devastating sanctions of the 1990's and Albright's "who gives a fuck" attitude towards the number of dying Iraqi people. She sounded like Stalin and even looked like him in a way but her mustache was better.
Explain those things, Hane. Most liberal weenies start crying or change the topic when presented these facts.
"Oh, but Bush did this and Bush did that." Sorry, sweetheart, here's a kleenex.
But since we are talking about Iraq, have you seen Biden's plan for our withdrawal from Iraq? A partition plan; Shia, Sunni and Kurd each gets a chunch. WOW, LBJ would be proud.
Ask your friends from Turkey, Syria, Armenia and Iran what will happen if the PKK has a safe haven in the Kurkish section. What if it is U.N. and U.S. funded?

But I wasn't going to mention that. Laughing

how come democrats have been more hard line in the past 8 years?
I have friends who either live or have lived in Russia so this is second hand news.
When Putin took office, there was wide spread corruption at state (Oblast) and city levels. When Putin suspended these elections and appointed officials the Dumbocraps had a major conniption. A friend who lives in Nizhny Novgorod told me not to vote for Kerry; like it was ever an option. Kerry, like Obama, is good at pointing fingers but not coming up with solutions; just change. Kerry said we should pressure the Russians into accepting democracy. Pressure? We should? What kind of pressure? Bush mentioned it once, I would imagine it was to get the liberal weenies off his back.
Russia will be a democracy but it will be a Russian democracy and on it's own terms.

Nu, your description of Obama (and Kerry as well) is quite appropriate. He literally defines the term "empty suit"

He's eloquent, but it's just talk. He hasn't demonstrated an ability to do anything but give speeches, vote "present" and associate with terrorists, criminals and racists.

I'm pretty sure Putin knows that and I'd bet he'd vote for Obama if he could.

Good words, Nu Pogodi. But to tell the truth, most Russian people dislike the word "democracy" as the so-called "democrats" both in Russia and abroad have perverted the meaning of this word. (Is "perverted" good in this context? I am not sure.)

Yes, it's true. But only because he'd choose the lesser of the two evils.

Georgia

I'm Georgian and let me exspress myself.

The two Giants are struggling and the battle field is georgia!

Russia did a lot of disgusting things in Georgia, I live there and I've seen everything with my own eyes.

I know Georgia has only tho choices to make: Russia or USA.

I prefer USA
