What does "temper tantrum" mean?

We are all children.

A tantrum is the (shouting, anger, crying, face shaping,..etc.) behaviour of a young child to express his/her frustration in resoonse to certain challenge/pressure at that time. When an adult commit a similar behavior for whatever reason then he/she share the same description in top of acting childish .. I guess so :)

A mature man never has a temper tantrums…

John, i have a  little problem with your sentence, so answer me please, you meant this word is only used for a child, or we have some matures who bahave like this but the children have these right not adults?which one does your sentence mean?
