I tried to translate the lyrics of the song in my profile from azeri into english. Although words are quite simple here but believe me it was a challenge for me :)

Once-upon-a-time a young guy fell in love with a girl

She turned his life upside-down

He was under a delusion while it was leading him to the abyss.

Whatever they say, love is above all

Whatever they do, love-songs will ever be sung

If our hearts beat together,

Our dreams are flying in the sky,

You are only mine and I am only yours

You know, such things happen in a fairy-tales.

Once-upon-a-time a young girl fell in love with a guy

He burst into her life

Long night calls, endless words of love,

She knew she was playing with fire.

Whatever they say, love is above all

Whatever they do, love-songs will ever be sung

If our hearts beat together,

Our dreams are flying in the sky,

You are only mine and I am only yours

You know, such things happen in a fairy-tales.

I'm starving. I've been going without food for 2 days now. I know you will say it's unhealthy and so on. But I have no choice.I have to lose some weight. Not much, just a couple of kilos. But  I have only 7 days for it.

I never had such an experience before. But to my surprise I find it very easy not to eat for 2 days, you know.

But, as it often the case, there is one 'but'. I just can't stop thinking about the  food. You see,I'm even writing a blog about it. My imagination pictures different tasty and delishious dishes I won't eat in the near future. What can I do? Only share my hungry fantasies with you. And at the same time to show you some azeri food.

Dolma. The minced meat with rice stuffed into the vine leaves. Actually, dolma means to stuff in azeri and turkish language.

here is another dolma, stuffed eggplants, peppers and tomatos:

sorry for the small size :)

And homemade Baklava for the dessert:

Bon appetite! or Nush olsun in azeri.

honestly,I didn't advanced in my diet yet :( but I still have a few days

about grape leaves, yes they need a special processing if you take the raw ones (like if you have you own vineyard as I do:) u can pick them, only you should pick light green leaves which has just grown new, otherwise, if u use old dark green ones your dolma will be sort of tough, difficult to chew :)

so, if u use raw grape leaves, boil them a liitle bit, for 5-10 min, just as u mentioned about cabbage layers.

here the process descibed more detailed

heh let's call it holiday:) you divined mysecret:)

Yes,I can cook them but frankly I hate cooking! Only occasionally, once in a while, when inspiration comes to me,I can cook with joy and even create something new,but still I wish I wouldn't have to cook(because I HAVE to as a decent woman, wife and a mother:) or would have a private cook,or even better if he would be from japan so that he could cook me sushi and..o.k  seems I've been carried away with dreams :)

The dishes seem to be so tasty!

Do the grape leaves need special processing before  being stuffed in Dolma?

(Like cabbage leaves, for example?)

How is the last day of the diet?

Dialog from the video on my profile:

 -I'd like a plain omelet.

-No potatoes.Tomatoes instead.A cup of coffee and wheat toast.

 -No substitutions.

-What do you mean? You don't have any tomatoes?

-Only what's on the menu. You can have number two, a plain omelet. It comes with fries and rolls.    -I know what it comes with, but it's not what I want.        - Make up your mind.    - Wait.I have made up my mind.I'd like a plain omelet. No potatoes on the plate.A cup of coffee and a side order of wheat toast.   -I'm sorry, we don't have any side orders of toast.   I'll give you an English muffin or a coffee roll.   -No side orders of toast? You make sandwiches, don't you?       -Would you like to talk to the manager?       - Hey, mack.

   - Shut up

You've got bread and a toaster of some kind?

-I don't make the rules.     -I'll make it as easy for you as I can.    -I'd like a plain omelet and a chicken salad sandwich on wheat toast.    No mayonnaise, no butter, no lettuce, and a cup of coffee.        -A number two.A chicken sal san.    Hold the butter, the lettuce and the mayonnaise.    And a cup of coffee.    Anything else?       -Yeah, now all you have to do is hold the chicken, bring me the toast...    give me a check for a chicken salad sandwich...   and you haven't broken any rules.        -You want me to hold the chicken, huh?        -I want you to hold it between your knees.

sure, you are right,Agnolia,  the language is  a reflection of individuals culture, intellectual development.

what I wanted to point out here is actually Jack Nickolson and his artistic genius.I am a big fan of him and his movies such as 'one fly over the cuckoo's nest' , 'as good as it gets' and others. Here I posted a video from the 'Five Easy Pieces' with the scene in the cafe where his character tries to order a dinner. At first sight, not a big deal, but just see how it turns out ! :)

Don't you think that any language can sound primitive?  the vocabulary of a person depends on  education, needs, cultaral background, upbringing

sometimes i've heard more terrible dialogue among Russians
